Clark is arguably the greatest basketball player in school history after enjoying a phenomenal four-year career from 1976-79.  He was a four-time All-District Nine pick, earning Most Valuable Player honors twice, and was an honorable mention NAIA All-American in 1976 and ’79.
A 6-foot-7 center, Clark finished as UCO’s all-time leader in both points scored (2,148) and rebounds (1,169).  He averaged an amazing 21.1 points and 11.5 rebounds a game for his 102-game UCO career, shooting 62 percent from the field and 71 percent from the free throw line.

Clark ranks third, seventh, 17th and 36th in single-season scoring at UCO and first, ninth and 16th in single-season rebounding.
Clark averaged 21.7 points and 12.5 rebounds in 1975-76 as a freshman and then played for the United States in the World Junior Olympic Games the summer after that season.  He came back to net 17.2 points and 10.5 rebounds a game as a sophomore, averaged 19.3 points and 11.0 rebounds as a junior and then 27.0 points and 11.7 rebounds as a senior.
