Kent Taylor was also a three- year starter at 118 and 126 pounds, picking up All- America recognition in 1977, '79 and '80 en route to finishing with an 80-21 career mark.

He was a third- place national finisher in NCAA Division II at 118 as a redshirt freshman in 1977 when UCO was dual members of Division II and NAIA and then missed the next season to injury. TAylor came back to place fourth at 126in 1979 to help the Bronchos to their first national crown and then took third at 118 as a senior in 1980.
