George Hauser was a standout pitcher in both starting and relief roles throughout his four-year career at Central Oklahoma from 1982-85.

He appeared in a school-record 77 games and finished with a 26-13 record and 13 saves. The 26 wins remains a school career record and the 13 saves was a record until 2017. George also ranks among the all-time school leaders in innings pitched (186.2) and winning percentage (.744).

UCO won 127 games with Hauser on the squad. He helped the team advance to the NAIA National Tournament in 1983 for the first time in school history. Hauser was an NAIA All-District Nine selection in 1984 and 1985.
