Guy Hardaker

Guy Hardaker was a three-year starter at shortstop and third base for the Bronchos from 1982-84, leading UCO to a 101-49 record in that span before leaving his junior year after getting drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Hardaker batted .341 as a freshman in 1982, and then hit .308 the following season in earning All-District 9 and NAIA All-Area honors as the Bronchos went 34-19.  He repeated those honors as a junior in 1983 after hitting .324 with eight home runs in pacing UCO to a the school record of 39 wins in a 39-8 campaign.

Hardaker was taken in the 10th round by the Phillies following the 1983 season and spent several years playing in the minors leagues, reaching as high as the triple A level. 

Guy is now the UCO head women's basketball coaches.
