Mike Rollins was a three-year starter at quarterback in 1960, ’61 and ’62, leading the Bronchos to a remarkable 26-5 record in the span.  UCO won two Oklahoma Collegiate Conference crowns with Rollins leading the offense and captured the NAIA national championship in 1962.

Rollins passed for 283 yards as a sophomore, hit 50-of-108 passes for 1,139 yards and nine touchdowns in 1961 and completed 54-of-108 aerials for 947 yards and 12 TDs in UCO’s undefeated (11-0) national championship season.

An All-Conference pick as a senior, Rollins finished with 2,369 career passing yards.  He led Central to a 28-13 victory over Lenoir Rhyne (N.C.) in the 1962 national championship game by hitting 8-of-18 passes for 158 yards and two TDs.
