Joining the UCO Athletic Hall of Fame for Lifetime Achievement is Ed Martin, who was a three-year basketball letterman for the Bronchos in the late 1960s.

Martin graduated from UCO in 1969 and began work at The Oklahoman in 1970.  He eventually became vice president of the Oklahoma Publishing Company, then left in 2001 to take over as president of Ackerman McQueen before coming Chairman in 2004. 

Ed has devoted time to numerous civic and business organizations over the past four decades, including the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Boy Scouts of America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the United Way of Metro Oklahoma City and many others.
