Greg Oplotnik was a four-year starter and three-time All-American for the Bronchos from 1987-91, wrestling on one national championship team and three runner-up squads during his career that was spent entirely at 190 pounds.

Oplotnik came in as a raw freshman and started all year in 1987-88, then helped UCO to the NAIA national team title the following year when he earned All-America honors with a fifth-place finish in finishing 28-16.

Greg enjoyed one of the best seasons in school history as a junior in 1989-90, going 40-7 with a single-season school-record 14 major decisions while capturing the national championship in UCO’s first year in NCAA Division II.  He came back with a 32-4 campaign and third-place national finish as a senior to again earn All-America accolades.

Also a two-time Division II Academic All-American, Oplotnik finished with a 111-44-2 career record.  He ranks 14th in all-time wins and fourth in career major decisions (27) at UCO.
