Joe Warren came to Central Oklahoma after a two-year stint at Cameron Junior College and was starting forward in 1955-56 and ’56-57 for the Bronchos, excelling as the team's top defender in that span.

Warren averaged 9.9 points a game in 1956-57, capped by a big 36-point outing against southwestern Oklahoma, and then scored at a 16.0 clip as a senior in 1957-58. He also lettered in track both at years at UCO as a multi-event performer.

Joe has also been a major supporter of UCO athletics since graduation.
