John Rogers was a four-year starter for the Central Oklahoma baseball team from 2000-03, leading the Bronchos to 161 wins over that span. UCO won three Lone Star Conference North Division titles and earned three national tournament bids during that same time frame.
 
Rogers, a third baseman who left UCO with a career .368 batting average, ended his career with six career school records – games played (208), at bats (617), runs scored (179), hits (227), doubles (55) and runs batted in (175).
 
He was the first UCO baseball player to ever earn four All-Conference selections, was a two-time All-Region pick and also earned All-America honors once.
Rogers earned second-team All-LSC North Division and Freshman of the Year accolades in 2000 before garnering first-team All-LSC North honors in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
 
He claimed All-South Central Region recognition in 2001 and 2003 and capped his career off with a third-team American Baseball Coaches Association All-American honor in 2003.
