Bill Sirkel was a three-year football standout at center for the Bronchos in the 1950s, starting his career in 1950 before going to the Korean War.

Sirkel returned to UCO in 1953 and resumed his spot in the starting lineup that season and again in 1954. He capped his career by earning first-team NAIA All-American honors as a senior in 1954.

The Bronchos were a combined 19-8-1 during Sirkel’s three-year career.
