University of Central Oklahoma Athletics

Al Jones has been involved with the UCO athletic department since the early 1960s.  He was a student trainer and manager on the 1962 football team that won the NAIA national championship and has worked with the university and the athletic department in various capacities ever since.

Jones has played an instrumental role in UCO letterman’s club and UCO athletic Association for many years and is currently the executive director of UCO Athletic Association.  He is also a past member of the UCO Alumni Association Board of Directors, including serving as the president three years.
