Randy Zellner helped lead Central Oklahoma to three straight NCAA Division II team wrestling titles while earning All-America honors four times and making the national finals three consecutive years, finishing his career second on the school’s all-time win list.

Zellner went 28-11 as a freshman in 1991, winning the Midwest Regional title at 118 pounds and finishing eighth in the national tournament.  He came back the next season to go 36-15 and was runner-up at the Midwest Regional before going on to capture the national championship in helping UCO win its first-ever Division II title.

Randy won another regional crown as a junior in 1993 and lost an overtime decision in the national finals in finishing with a 35-8 record.  He claimed his third Midwest Regional title and again finished as national runner-up as a senior en route in finishing 33-8.

Zellner ended his career with a 132-42 record while wrestling every match at 118 pounds.  He placed in 27 tournaments during his four years with the Bronchos, winning 12 titles.  He was inducted into the NCAA Division II Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005.
