The Bronchos pushed their lead to 6-0 in the third as Elroy had a run-scoring double, Tyler Hatcher an RBI single and Dylan Tinkler a sacrifice fly.

The Patriots scored once in the fourth and fifth innings to pull within 6-2, but Ingram belted a two-run home run in the sixth while Day and Chris Lobato had RBI hits in the seventh to keep UCO safely in front.

Zack Wunderlich picked up the pitching win, scattering seven hits and allowing two runs in going the first five innings before Andrew Davis and Konner Kyser threw an inning each to close out the game.

The Bronchos fell behind 3-0 after three innings in the second game before getting run-scoring hits from Tinkler and Jake O'Brien in the fourth.
