Biography

Senior slugger who ranks among the top power hitters in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Ready to take over starting duty at first base after filling main designated hitter role last season . . . Will probably see some time at DH and also capable of helping out at catcher if needed . . . Right-hander capable of hitting to all parts of the field and should once again be one of the team’s top run-producers . . . Local prep standout who spent freshman year at Division I Arkansas and then played 2014 season at junior college powerhouse Seminole State College before coming to UCO.
 
2015:  Honorable mention All-MIAA selection after hitting .299 with team-highs in doubles (12), runs batted in (43) and stolen bases (eight) while also belting 10 home runs . . . Started 43 of the team’s 45 games, with 34 at DH, eight at catcher and one in left field . . . Led the team in multi-RBI games with 13 and also had 11 multi-hit outings . . . Put together three hitting streaks of five-plus games . . . Went 5-for-10 with two homers and five RBI in three-game series against Emporia State . . . Drove in seven runs with two doubles and a homer to spark 16-3 rout of Lindenwood . . . Had two hits with a homer and five RBI in 11-9 win over league champion Missouri Southern.
 
UA/Juco:  Saw limited action for the Razorbacks as a rookie in 2013, hitting one homer and driving in six runs while playing in 13 games with four starts . . . Named to the Southeastern Conference Honor Roll . . . Started all season at Seminole, batting .272 with six doubles, six homers and 25 RBI.
 
High School:  Two-time Edmond Sun All-City pick at Deer Creek High School in Edmond and an honorable mention All-State selection as a senior . . . Led Antlers to four straight state tournament appearances . . . Also lettered in football.
