Biography

Team captain and returning starter looking to stake his claim as one of the elite shortstops in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Came in as junior college transfer last year and assumed starting role from the outset . . . Owns great range in the field while also possessing a strong arm and will spearhead infield defense . . . Also capable of being more of an offensive threat this spring and is ready to end career in style . . . Came to UCO last fall from Connors State.

2015:  Started 43 of 45 games at shortstop and finished with .253 average along with eight doubles, three home runs and 29 runs batted in . . . Had 10 multi-hit games – including one string of five straight -- and seven multi-RBI outings . . . Batted sizzling .483 (14-for-29) with three doubles, two homers and 14 RBI during season-high nine-game hitting streak . . . Finished with team-best 112 assists, 27 better than the second-best total, and put together a 16-game error-less streak.
 
Juco:  Played two years at Connors, helping the Cowboys go 46-13 as a sophomore . . . Batted .318 with four homers and 31 RBI that season while also racking up team-high 114 assists.
 
High School:  Prep standout at Southmoore High School . . . All-Conference and Oklahoman Big All-City selection as a senior after leading the Sabercats to conference title.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major . . . Enjoys fishing as a hobby . . . Lists the Baltimore Orioles as his top team . . . Names Kendrick Lamar as his favorite musician . . . Lists “Field of Dreams” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Dec. 12, 1993.
