UCO Maintains Top Spot In Open Mat Rankings

Bronchos Have Eight Individuals Listed To Lead Tournament Rankings

Central Oklahoma's individual rankings all remained the same in this week's Open Mat rankings and the Bronchos stayed No. 1 in the country in this week's edition.

The Open Mat, a website covering all divisions of collegiate wrestling, has UCO No. 1 in the country in tournament rankings, No. 3 in dual rankings, and eight individuals are ranked in their respective weights.

Jason Henschel (133) and Gabe Johnson (157) remained No. 1 at their weights, Garrett Wells (197) remained No. 3 and Branson Britten (184) is still No. 5 in the country. Guy Clevenger (125) maintained his spot at No. 6, Josh Taylor (141) is No. 8 again this week, and Hunter Jump (174) is 14th and Judson Rowland (Hvy.) 16th at their weights.

Henschel, Johnson, and Wells are all 4-0 this season. Taylor and Rowland are 2-0. Clevenger and Britten are both 3-1. Jump is 2-2 on the young season.

Central Oklahoma wrestles Newman in an MIAA dual Wednesday night at Hamilton Field House before heading to the Midwest Classic Dec. 12-13 in Indianapolis.
