Biography

Returning starter looking to keep the top spot and anchor the lineup at heavyweight … Powerful big man with great quickness who has ability to be make a major impact … Came to UCO in 2020-21 and retained a year of eligibility after the NCAA didn’t count that season … Redshirted in 2021-22 and then sat out two seasons before rejoining the team at the winter break last year.

2024-25: Went 12-7 with four bonus-point wins after taking over starting berth at the NWCA Division II National Duals … Dropped 2-1 tiebreaker decision to eventual national qualifier Lloyd Reynolds of Wisconsin-Parkside in first match back … Lost tough 4-0 decision to eventual All-American Crew Howard of Nebraska-Kearney in UCO’s late-season dual win over the Lopers … Went 5-1 at Roger Denker Open with three bonus wins before reaching six-match limit .. Came up just short of qualifying for national tournament with fourth-place finish in Super Regional IV Tournament … Started that meet with third-period fall and 8-3 win before falling in semifinals … Bounced back with 4-2 victory, then fell 8-5 in consolation finals.

High School: Two-time state champion at Mustang High School … Finished with 98-23 career record and All-State pick as a senior … Also an All-District linebacker for the Broncos.
