Biography

Two-time All-American and talented junior big man making the move to 197 pounds after starring at 184 the past two seasons … Tough to score on, but also has a lot of offensive weapons and will again be a big-time point producer for the Bronchos … Hard-working veteran and should be a prime contender for the national championship … Owns 54-17 career record with 29 bonus-point wins … Athletic big man who keeps getting better and is ready to take the next step.

2024-25: Earned All-America honors for second straight year with sixth-place national tournament finish, ending the season 22-7 with 13 bonus wins … Got off to fast start, earning five bonus wins in going 8-0 before falling to Kutztown’s Matt Weinberg in Midwest Classic semifinals … Bounced back to win two close decisions to take third in that rugged tournament … Suffered three straight tough losses at the NWCA Division II National Duals, avenging all three of those later in the year … Went 3-0 to claim second consecutive Super Regional IV Tournament title, opening with a technical fall and second-period pin before winning 6-3 finals decision … Was seeded sixth at national tournament and was upset in first round … Came back with three straight consolation wins – two over opponents he lost to at the National Duals – and then lost last two matches to finish sixth.

2023-24: Took over starting berth from the outset and led the team in wins (32), matches (42) and falls (nine) … Finished 32-10 with 16 bonus-point wins and placed in six tournaments … Started strong with runner-up showings in the Broncho and Drury opens and a fourth-place effort at the Lindenwood Open before bursting on the national scene at the Midwest Classic … Went 5-0 with four one-point wins to take title in that prestigious event and vault into the national rankings … Captured Regional IV Tournament title to earn national tournament berth … Went 3-0 in that one-day event, opening with a second-period fall and 11-3 major decision before prevailing 4-1 in the finals on last-second takedown … Suffered first-round upset as the No. 4 seed at nationals, but rebounded with three straight wins before losing two straight to finish sixth … Was named MIAA Freshman of the Year.

2022-23: Put together sensational 16-1 record with eight bonus wins while competing in four tournaments during redshirt campaign … Won titles at the Fort Hays State Open and freshman-sophomore division of the Lindenwood Open, scoring a fall in finals of both events … Co-champ with teammate Anthony DesVigne at Dan Harris Open and runner-up at Viking Open when suffered lone defeat.

High School: Multi-sport standout at Glenpool High School ... Two-time state champion on the mat and All-State pick as a senior after going 31-0 ... Team captain in football and also a state qualifier in track for the Warriors.
