Biography

Junior lightweight who will contend for top spot at 125 pounds … Has seen plenty of action the last two years in showing what he can do and is ready to be the main man … Tough competitor who is at his best when in control on the mat … Owns 37-10 career record with 21 bonus-point wins and has the experience needed to handle the position … Redshirted in 2022-23, then was part-time starter the next season before seeing back-up duty last year.

2024-25: Competed in five open tournaments, going 14-2 with nine bonus wins … Had three bonus wins in going 5-0 to capture Viking Open title, capped by 10-1 finals rout … Also claimed Roger Denker Open crown with 29-second fall, 16-0 technical fall and two decisions.

2023-24: Put together strong season as UCO’s main starter, finishing 23-8 with 12 bonus-point wins, including seven technical falls … Placed fourth in the Drury Open and was fifth in freshman-sophomore division of the Lindenwood Open … Went 3-2 at the rugged Midwest Classic … Was perfect 8-0 in duals, highlighted by huge 1-0 upset of top-ranked and eventual national runner-up Jaxson Rohman of Augustana that ignited UCO’s finals rout of the Vikings in the NWCA Division II National Duals.

2022-23: Competed in five open tournaments, going 17-7 with 10 bonus wins … Went 4-1 with two technical falls in third-place showing at Norsemen Open … Had pair of falls in tying for third at Drury Open with teammate Garrett Steidley … Rebounded from second-round loss at Viking Open to win four straight before reaching six-match limit … Placed fifth in freshman-sophomore division of the Lindenwood Open.

High School: Three-time Class 4A state finalist at Catoosa High School … Captured state title as a sophomore for the Indians before finishing runner-up his last two years … All-State pick following senior season.

Personal: English/forensic science investigations major … Enjoys reading and playing chess as hobbies … Names the Las Vegas Raiders as his top team … Lists “Remember the Titans” as his favorite sports movie … Birthdate is Nov. 25, 2002.
