No. 20 Central Oklahoma Hosts Central Missouri

EDMOND – No. 20 Central Oklahoma returns to Hamilton Field House for two MIAA matches as part of Homecoming Week.
 
The Bronchos host Central Missouri Friday night at 5 p.m. and Missouri Southern Saturday night at 6 p.m. The UCM match is happening in conjunction with Homecoming's Rock The Block festivities and the UCO soccer game at 7 p.m. Saturday's match immediately follows Central's Homecoming football game.
 
Central Oklahoma is 13-2 this season and ranked No. 20 in the country. The Bronchos are 4-1 in the MIAA. Central Missouri is 7-5 on the season and receiving votes in the national rankings. The Jennies are 4-0 in the MIAA.
 
UCO is among the national leaders, ranking fifth in assists and seventh in kills in Division II. UCO averages 13.67 assists per set and 14.5 kills per set through 15 games played this season.
 
Jenna Karp leads the offensive attack, averaging 3.17 kills per set. The junior middle is also hitting .401 on the season, a mark that ranks 11th among all Division II players. Karp also 30 blocks this season (eight solo), averaging 0.63 blocks per set.
 
Addison Wimmer is also above three kills per set, at 3.06. The junior outside hitter has 150 kills in 15 matches played. Wimmer adds 90 digs, 1.84 per set, and 14 blocks, 0.29 per set.
 
Sydney Huck has been above 3.00 kills per set this season. She enters this weekend at 2.96. The sophomore hitter has 148 kills and is hitting .240 through 15 matches played. Huck is also big on defense and has 110 digs, 2.2 per set, and 15 blocks, 0.30 per set.
 
Mallorie Koehn is the fourth Bronchos with 100 kills this season. The junior hitter has 107 and is averaging 2.28 kills per set. Mikiah Perdue, with 80 kills, averages 1.86 per set. She leads the team with 32 blocks and averages 0.74 blocks per set this season.
 
Lindsey Houran and Riley Roberts have set the high-powered and versatile offense. Houran has 368 assists, 8.98 per set, and Roberts has 221 assists, 6.70 per set. The duo has kept the Bronchos firing on all cylinders.
 
Jaedynn Evans is leading the defense too from the back row. The libero from Iowa is averaging 5.97 digs per set this season. She has 227 total digs. Evans ranks fourth in the nation in digs per set and leads the MIAA in that category.
 
Central Missouri averages 13.1 kills per set. Kersti Nix leads the charge with 178 kills, 3.56 per set. She is the MIAA leader and is hitting .233 this season. Grace Southern also has 126 total kills. Olivia Olson sets it all up with 503 assists, 10.06 per set. Grace Winkelmann has a team-high 179 digs on the back row.
 
Central Oklahoma will take on Central Missouri Friday night before facing Missouri Southern Saturday night. The Lions from Joplin, Missouri are 9-5 overall and 2-2 in the MIAA. Southern plays at Pitt State Friday night.
