Kaitlyn Parrott Named CSC Academic All-American

Central Oklahoma Junior Honored For Combined Work In Classroom and On The Court

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Central Oklahoma junior libero Kaitlyn Parrott was named Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators organization, it was announced Tuesday.

The Allen, Texas native earned All-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association and the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association and now has Academic All-American to add to the list.

"We are very proud of Kaitlyn," UCO head volleyball coach Edgar Miraku said. "For as much as she has accomplished on the court, she is doing great things off the court. We are very happy for her and that she is being recognized for all her hard work."

Parrott has a 3.96 grade point average and is a kinesiology major. She was one of two Bronchos named Academic All-District in December.

The 2025-26 Academic All-American Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

This past season, Parrott led Central Oklahoma to the national tournament for the second time in her three-year career. The junior libero was among the best in the country on the back row. She ranked fifth in the country in digs per set at 5.74 and ranked seventh nationally in total digs with 643. That mark also put her in the Top 10 in school history for most digs in a single season.

Central Oklahoma went 26-7 this past season, reaching the MIAA Volleyball Championship semifinals and the NCAA Central Region Championship quarterfinals.
