UCO Is Receiving Votes In AVCA Top 25

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma is receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Top 25, it was announced Tuesday.

Central Oklahoma, which went 24-7 a year ago and finished third in the MIAA, was picked third in the MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll announced last week. The Bronchos return all six starters, including five All-MIAA selections, two All-Region picks, and All-American libero, Jaedynn Evans.
 
The Bronchos begin the 2023 season Friday, Sept. 1 in Texas. UCO will play four games in two days as part of the Midwestern State Invitational. Central is taking on West Alabama, MSU, Southwestern Oklahoma State, and Eastern New Mexico.
 
Central Oklahoma will play its first nine matches on the road before opening up its home slate against Oklahoma Baptist Tuesday, Sept. 12 at Hamilton Field House.
