No. 19 Bronchos To Host No. 8 UNK, FHSU

No. 19-ranked Central Oklahoma hosts a pair of Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association rivals this weekend, headlined by a showdown with No. 8 Nebraska-Kearney.

The Bronchos, 18-3 on the season and 9-2 in the conference, take on the league-leading Lopers (21-1, 11-1) at 6 p.m. Friday before meeting Fort Hays State (8-13, 2-10) at 2 p.m. Saturday.

"It's a big weekend for us," head coach Edgar Miraku said. "UNK is a great team and we know that will be a huge challenge, but we're looking forward to it. And Fort Hays is much better than their record indicates and is coming off a big win, so we know that will be another tough match.

"Its just an incredibly tough conference and you have to be ready to play at a high level every match."
