Sawyer Schreiner Earns All-American Honor

Central Oklahoma Junior Named CRCA/Pocock Racing First Team All-American

WILMINGTON, Del. – Central Oklahoma junior Sawyer Schreiner was named Pocock Racing First Team All-American by the College Rowing Coaches Association, it was announced Friday.
 
Schreiner, who is from Eudora, Kansas, is a first time All-American in 2026. The junior led UCO throughout the season, where the Bronchos ultimately finished third at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships.
 
Schreiner got the season started with Varsity 8+ wins over Milwaukee School of Engineering, Oklahoma State, and Wichita State, at a day of racing hosted by the Bronchos in Oklahoma City. Schreiner also led the V8+ boat to a sixth-place finish at the DII Invite in Florida featuring the top eight teams in the country, as well as a second-place finish at the Northwest Collegiate Rowing Championships.
 
Central Oklahoma's Varsity 8+ boat finished fourth at the GNAC Championships, where the team finished third in the final points race.
