With its completion in March 2015, the UCO Boathouse became the third boathouse on the shores of the Oklahoma River. This incredible facility is Central’s home on the water and accommodates all rowing needs for the Bronchos today and far into the future.
Equipped with enough boat bay storage for Central’s rowing shell needs for the near and long term, an upstairs erg room, training room, locker rooms, coaches’ offices, and meeting spaces, Central’s boathouse is a world class home for the rowing team. Designed by Elliot and Associates, the UCO Boathouse provides a modern, cutting edge facility to both Oklahoma City and UCO communities alike.
The UCO Boathouse is home to the three-time NCAA Division II national champion Bronchos. Central won titles in 2018, 2019, and 2021. UCO also earned runner-up finishes in 2016, 2017, and 2023.Â
