UCO Remains No. 2 In AVCA Poll

Bronchos Are 14-0 And Begin MIAA Play This Weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma maintained its spot at No. 2 in the country in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25, announced Monday.
 
UCO is 14-0 this season and went 5-0 last week in wrapping up its non-conference schedule. Lynn University (Fla.) is 10-0 and the defending national champions are once again the No. 1 ranked team in the country.
 
Four MIAA schools are ranked. Behind UCO are No. 4 Nebraska Kearney, No. 7 Washburn, and No. 24 Missouri Western. Central Missouri is also receiving votes in this week's poll.
 
The Bronchos open MIAA play this weekend and have 16 league matchups on the schedule. UCO will travel to Wichita, Kansas to face Newman Friday night before taking on Pittsburg State Saturday afternoon in Pittsburg, Kansas. The Bronchos return home next weekend and will host Missouri Southern and Central Missouri.
