25-Year UCO Volleyball Team Filled With Stars

14-player Roster Combined For All-Conference Honors 42 Times

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma's volleyball program has enjoyed smashing success since 2000, with the Bronchos having established themselves as a perennial MIAA contender and one of the top teams in NCAA Division II.

To celebrate that quarter-century of success as the 2025 season nears, 14 former players have been selected to the 25-year UCO Volleyball Team, with seven first-team and seven second-team members. Three outside hitters, two middle blockers, a setter and a libero/defensive specialist comprise both squads.

Here's a look at the teams:
 
FIRST TEAM
Outside Hitter
: Taylor Bevis, 2015-18. Bevis is the only three-time All-American in school history along with being a three-time All-Region selection. She earned All-MIAA honors every year of her career, claiming Player of the Year accolades once. Bevis  ranks third in career kills (1,752) and third in career 20-plus kill matches (17).
 
Outside Hitter: Alma Brahimaj, 1999-02. Brahimaj was a dominating force for the Bronchos and her name still fills the UCO record books. She was a four-time All-Lone Star Conference North Division selection, a two-time LSC North Division Player of the Year and a two-time All-Region pick. Brahimaj holds school records for single-match (46), single-season (644) and career (2,404) kills while ranking second in aces (214) and fourth in digs (1,833). She had 45 matches with 20-plus kills, twice as many as the second-place player.
 
Outside Hitter: Barbara Jackson, 2012-15. Jackson was a three-time All-MIAA performer, earning Player of the Year honors once. She was also a two-time All-Region honoree and a two-time All-American, becoming UCO's first multiple All-American. Jackson ranks sixth in career kills (1,551).

Middle Blocker: Jenna Karp, 2021-24. Karp capped her outstanding career last season by leading UCO to a best-ever 33-3 record and its first-ever Central Regional championship. She was a four-time All-MIAA selection and picked up All-Region and All-America recognition in 2024. Karp hit .324 with 1,206 career kills and ranks fifth in solo blocks (79) and ninth in assisted blocks (283) on UCO's all-time lists.
 
Middle Blocker: Jordan Spencer, 2015-18. Spence joined Bevis in leading UCO to 117 wins and two national tournament berths in a splendid four-year career that saw earn garner All-MIAA recognition every season. She ranks fourth in assisted blocks (381), seventh in solo blocks (74) and hit .330 for her career with 986 kills.
 
Setter: Stacey Meek, 2000-03. Meek powered UCO's high-octane offensive attack for her setter post throughout her career and was a four-time All-LSC North Division honoree. She owns school records for single-match (86), single-season (1,660) and career (5,604) assists. Meek – who will be inducted into the UCO Athletics Hall of Fame Oct. 3 -- also had 1,227 digs, 336 kills, 279 total blocks and 115 aces during her career.
 
Libero/Defensive Specialist: Lacie Allen, 2004-07. Allen was a two-time LSC North Division Libero of the Year selection while also garnering All-Region honors twice. She became UCO's first-ever All-American as a senior after racking up a school, Lone Star Conference and Division II-record 996 digs. Allen holds the school career record of 2,765 digs while also ranking 10th in service aces with 133.

SECOND TEAM
Outside Hitter:
Zuela Adom, 2009-10. Adom was a two-year standout for the  Bronchos after transferring. She earned All-Lone Star Conference honors both seasons at UCO and was an All-Region selection as a junior. Adom finishing with 759 kills, 259 digs, 129 assisted blocks and 34 solo blocks for her two-year career.

Outside Hitter: Lexy Fortner, 1999-02. Fortner was a four-year starter and three-time All-LSC North Division selection for the Bronchos. She had two seasons with 500-plus kills and ranks fifth in career kills with 1,555. Fortner is also eighth in career attacks (4,087) and eighth in service aces (146).
 
Outside Hitter: Kristen Wilson, 2007-10. Wilson started four straight seasons and was a three-time All-Lone Star Conference choice. She ranks 10th on UCO's career charts in both kills (1,307) and digs (1,478).

Middle Blocker: Tori Walker, 2001-03. Walker was a three-year standout at the net after coming to UCO as a transfer, claiming All-LSC North Division recognition twice. She ranks fifth in career assisted blocks with 337, while also totaling 1,161 kills and 29 solo blocks.

Middle Blocker: Katy Wallace, 1999-02. Wallace earned All-LSC North Division honors three times during her four-year career with the Bronchos. She's fifth on the school's all-time assisted blocks list with 366 and also knocked down 928 kills.

Setter: Katy Davis, 2013-16. Davis helped lead UCO to 109 wins and its lone MIAA regular season title during a four-year starting career. She was a three-time All-MIAA selection in addition to garnering All-Region, All-American and Academic All-American accolades as a junior. Davis ranks third in career assists with 4,442.

Libero/Defensive Specialist: Jaedynn Evans, 2022-23. Evans finished with 1,415 digs in a distinguished two-year career with the Bronchos. She led Division II in total digs (775) and digs per set (6.62) in 2022 in earning All-MIAA, All-Region and All-America honors and was a repeat selection in all three categories in her final season.
