INDIANAPOLIS – Central Oklahoma is returning to the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship it was announced Monday.
UCO (27-5) will be the No. 7 seed in the eight-team Central Regional, hosted by Nebraska Kearney Dec. 4-6, and will take on No. 2 seed Concordia St. Paul (26-5) in the first round.
Top-seed UNK (29-3) will host the regional and face off against No. 8 seed Oklahoma Baptist (22-9), which won the Great American Conference title to earn the league's automatic berth. No. 3 Wayne State faces No. 6 Washburn and No. 4 St. Cloud State will take on No. 5 Missouri Western in the regional quarterfinals.
The winner of the Central Region title will join seven other regional champions at nationals Dec. 11-13 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Central Oklahoma won the 2024 Central Region title before falling in the national quarterfinals.

UCO takes a 27-5 record into the national tournament. The Bronchos went 14-0 in non-conference play before a 12-4 run in the rugged MIAA. The Bronchos were the No. 4 seed in the league's postseason tournament this past weekend in St. Joseph, Missouri. UCO won its quarterfinal matchup with Emporia State before falling in the semifinals to Nebraska Kearney.
This season marks the eighth national tournament appearance for Central Oklahoma, which is 6-7 all time in the postseason tournament. This is the first time Central has earned back-to-back tournament bids.
