LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma remained No. 7 in this week's AVCA Top 25 announced Monday.
The top eight remained the same and only minor changes came to the Top 15. UCO is 21-3 on the season and has been ranked in the Top 10 since the preseason poll in August.
Central Oklahoma went 2-0 last week with a pair of sweeps against Arkansas Fort Smith. The Bronchos won 3-0 at UAFS on Wednesday night and beat the MIAA rival 3-0 for a second time Saturday afternoon in Edmond.
UCO is on the road this week, playing at Central Missouri, which is receiving votes in this week's poll. The Jennies host the Bronchos Friday at 6 p.m. in Warrensburg, Missouri. UCM handed UCO its first loss of the season Oct. 4 in Edmond. Central Oklahoma will also play at Missouri Southern on Saturday afternoon.
Central returns to Edmond for its final two home matches of the season Nov. 6-7 at Hamilton Field House. The Bronchos play Newman first Thursday on Senior Night and will take on Pittsburg State Friday in the home finale.
UCO wraps up the regular season with matches at Emporia State, also receiving votes this week, and at No. 2 Washburn. The MIAA Volleyball Championship is scheduled for Nov. 20-22 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
