Bronchos Remain Fourth In AVCA Poll

Central Oklahoma Begins Three-Game Road Trip This Weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma remained No. 4 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25, announced Monday.
 
The top five includes three MIAA teams. Washburn moved up to No. 2 in the country, UCO stayed at No. 4, and Nebraska Kearney dropped from second to No. 5 this week following two losses including at Washburn. Tampa remained the No. 1 team in the country and Barry stayed No. 3 this week.
 
Central Oklahoma went 1-1, beating Northwest Missouri 3-2 in Edmond on Friday night before falling 3-1 to Missouri Western Saturday afternoon at Hamilton Field House.
 
The Bronchos are on the road this week and will take on Fort Hays State Friday night before a big showdown with Nebraska Kearney Saturday at 1 p.m. UCO has three straight on the road, playing at Arkansas Fort Smith on Wednesday, Oct. 22. Central returns home to face UAFS a second time on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Hamilton Field House.
