LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma moved up one spot in the AVCA Top 25 announced Monday with the Bronchos No. 9 in the country in the latest national poll.
UCO finished the 2024 regular season with two wins this weekend in Edmond. The Bronchos posted a 27-2 overall record, including a 14-2 mark in the MIAA.
Central finished second in the league standings, one game back of regular season champion Nebraska Kearney, whose only loss was a 3-0 sweep in Edmond last month.
UCO was tabbed third for the MIAA Volleyball Championship, which begins Nov. 21 in St. Joseph, Missouri. The league utilized Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to determine seeding for the eight-team postseason tournament due to an imbalanced league schedule this fall.
The Bronchos are set to play Emporia State in the quarterfinals Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
