The NCAA releases regional rankings three times prior to the 2023 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship Selection Show scheduled for Monday, Nov. 20.

Three conferences are included in the Central Region. The MIAA, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and the Great American Conference (GAC) make up 38 teams in the region. The winner of each conference's postseason tournament earns an automatic qualification into the national tournament and five more at-large selections are chosen for an eight-team regional tournament.

The Central Regional is scheduled for Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 at a site to be determined. The highest seed in the regional rankings will host the eight-team tourney. Then eight regional winners advance to the national finals in Moon Township, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) Dec. 7-9 where a national champion will be crowned.

UCO is 24-4 on the season with a 15-3 record in the MIAA. The Bronchos are just one game back from Central Missouri (16-2) and are tied with Nebraska Kearney (15-3). Those two schools play each other Saturday to end the regular season.

Central Oklahoma has already clinched a spot in the 2023 MIAA Volleyball Championship, scheduled for Nov. 16-18 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
