Bronchos At No. 21 In Latest AVCA Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma dropped three spots to No. 21 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25, announced Monday.

UCO went 1-1 last week in the final two home matches of the season for the Bronchos. Central Oklahoma lost 3-1 to Central Missouri, which is No. 24 in this week's AVCA poll. UCO followed that with a 3-0 win over Missouri Western.

Central Oklahoma is 22-5 overall this season and the Bronchos have a 12-5 record in the MIAA. UCO has two matches left in the regular season, playing at Newman Tuesday before visiting No. 10 Northwest Missouri on Wednesday.

The 2022 MIAA Volleyball Championship is scheduled for Nov. 10-12 in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Bronchos have already clinched a spot in the eight-team tournament and can finish anywhere from first to sixth in the final standings depending on how the final week shakes out.
