UCO Returns To National Rankings

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma is nationally ranked for the first time since 2019, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Monday. The Bronchos are No. 24 in the week's AVCA Top 25.

Central Oklahoma is 17-2 this season with a 7-2 record in MIAA play. The Bronchos have two Top 25 wins, beating then No. 6 Washburn two weeks ago in Edmond and at the time No. 18 Central Missouri this past weekend in Warrensburg, Mo. One of UCO's two losses came to now No. 5 Nebraska Kearney.

Central Oklahoma is home this weekend for a pair of MIAA matches. The Bronchos host Newman on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before welcoming No. 10 Northwest Missouri to Hamilton Field House on Friday night.

UCO last appeared in the 2019 AVCA Preseason Top 25. The Bronchos spent over three years prior to that in every consecutive poll.
