UCO No. 19 In Latest Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma swept the competition last week and notched its third Top 20 win of the season and the Bronchos were rewarded Monday in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.

Central Oklahoma jumped five spots to No. 19 from No. 24, where it made its season debut last week. The Bronchos beat Newman 3-0 on Tuesday evening before knocking off previously ranked No. 10 Northwest Missouri 3-0 on Friday night.

The Bronchos are 19-2 this season and Top 25 wins over No. 6 Washburn, No. 18 Central Missouri, and No. 10 Northwest Missouri. One of Central Oklahoma's two losses this season came at Nebraska Kearney, which was No. 8 in the country at the time and is at the same position in this week's rankings.

UCO hosts UNK Friday at 4 p.m. at Hamilton Field House. The Bronchos are also scheduled to host Fort Hays State on Saturday at 6 p.m. before a three-game road trip next week.
