PITTSBURG, Kan. – The University of Central Oklahoma volleyball team suffered a 3-2 setback at Pittsburg State Saturday afternoon.
The Bronchos are now 10-6 during their modified spring season.
UCO rallied from a 1-0 deficit to take a 2-1 lead in the match, winning the second set 25-22 before a 22-19 in the third gave the Bronchos the lead. But PSU answered with wins in the fourth set to tie the match, and a tough 16-14 third-set victory to take the win.
Central Oklahoma has just one match left in the spring season, Wednesday versus Newman at Hamilton Field House. The Bronchos will then go to Topeka, Kansas for the MIAA's postseason tournament.
