Bronchos Sweep Emporia State

EDMOND (March 6) -- Central Oklahoma swept a Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association volleyball match from Emporia State Saturday afternoon at Hamilton Field House.

The Bronchos claimed 25-19, 25-18, 25-14 victories in their second league match in two days. UCO used a 9-3 run to break away from a 16-all tie in taking the first set to take early control of the match.

Central is 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference for the spring season. The Bronchos host East Central in a non-conference exhibition at 3 p.m. Sunday.
