Washburn Tops UCO

WICHITA, Kan. (Feb. 27) -- Central Oklahoma dropped a three-set decision to Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association rival Washburn Saturday afternoon in a neutral-site match at Fugate Gymnasium on the Newman campus.

The Bronchos fell 25-21, 25-18, 25-18, falling to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the league in their abbreviated spring schedule.

UCO is back in action Sunday with a 3 p.m. non-conference match at Oklahoma Christian.
