Central Opens Spring MIAA Slate Friday

The Central Oklahoma volleyball team opens its spring Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association schedule this weekend with three neutral-site matches in Wichita, Kan.

The Bronchos of ninth-year head coach Edgar Miraku will play twice on Friday at Newman's Fugate Gymnasium, taking on Missouri Western at 11:30 a.m. and Nebraska-Kearney at 4:30 p.m. UCO finishes the weekend Saturday with an 11:30 a.m. contest against Washburn. All three matches will be streamed live on the MIAA network.

It's the start of a 13-match conference schedule for Central. The Bronchos are 2-0 for the spring after non-conference wins over Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Christian last week.
