Baseball Has 20 Selected to MIAA Honor Roll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association continued its spring postseason awards celebration Friday and 20 University of Central Oklahoma baseball made the league's honor roll.

Senior infielder Ryan Harrel also earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award for carrying a 4.0 grade point average.
 
Student-athletes must have a 3.0 GPA to make the MIAA Honor Roll and a 3.5 GPA and an All-MIAA selection to earn the Scholar Athlete Award. The latter of which was not given out this year due to no All-MIAA selections for spring sports following the cancellation of all sports in March due to the global health crisis.
 
Luke Anderson, Jacob Bailey, Colton Bertus, Britt Brown, Mason Carrier, Colton Croft, Chase Freeman, Carson Green, Harrel, Brett Hopkins, Cameron Kay, Owen Logan, Joe Mondragon, Zach Moore, Brayden Nelson, Kyler Patterson, Philip Scott, Brady Smith, Garrett Takamatsu, and Nick Vickers were all honored by the league with a spot on the MIAA Honor Roll.
