The Bronchos forced extra innings on J.P. Maples' two-out solo home run in the top of the ninth inning, but the Hornets scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 10th to pull out the tough win.

UCO managed just seven hits in the contest, including two by Jared WrightJacob Zinn accounted for the only other run with a solo blast -- his third -- in the third inning to tie the game 1-1.

ESU went ahead in the bottom of the eight before Maples tied it again in the ninth with his 11th homer of the season, this one a clutch blast when the Bronchos were down to their final at bat.
