Biography

Returning starter and senior leader slated to be one of the main outfielders . . . Should see most of his time in right field, but could also be used at designated hitter . . . Tough competitor and a prime offensive weapon, able to hit for power and average . . . Came to UCO from Redlands Community College and is ready to end his career in style.
 
2012:  Finished with the second-best average on the team at .417 while playing in 40 games with 29 starts, 17 in right field and 12 at DH . . . Had 10 doubles, six home runs, a team-high four triples and 35 runs batted in . . . Hit .452 (28-for-62) with runners on base and had a hefty .565 average (13-for-23) when leading off . . . Had 16 multi-hit games, including one stretch of four straight . . . Drove in two-plus runs nine times, capped by a pair of five-RBI games . . . Batted a blistering .696 (16-for-23) with five doubles, two homers and 11 RBI during one torrid seven-game hitting streak.
 
Juco:  Two-year starter for the Cougars, earning All-Conference and All-Region honors as a freshman after hitting .405 with nine home runs and 54 RBI . . . Came back to bat .400 as a sophomore.
 
High School:  Two-time All-District performer at Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, earning Oklahoman All-Big City accolades as a senior . . . Hit .380 with seven homers and 50 RBI his final season in leading the Pirates to a regional championship.
 
Personal:  General studies major . . . Enjoys bowling and golf among his hobbies . . . Names “Remember the Titans” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is July 9, 1990.
