SAN ANGELO, Texas (Oct. 9) -- Mistake-prone Central Oklahoma couldn't keep up with Angelo State here Saturday afternoon as the Bronchos fell in three sets.
It was the second straight Lone Star Conference road loss for UCO, who fell 25-9, 25-17, 25-15 to drop to 14-7 on the season and 4-3 in the league. The Rmbelles improved to 9-10 and 5-1.
The Bronchos had just 20 kills against 19 errors in 89 attacks in hitting just .011, while ASU hit a sizzling .310 with 44 kills and just 10 errors.
Alex Richardson led the Bronchos with seven kills, while Zuela Adom had six and Kristen Wilson four.
UCO returns to action Tuesday with a non-conference match at Newman before returning home to host league rivals Texas A&M-Commercen and Texas Woman's next Thursday and Friday night.
