LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma remained at No. 22 in the AVCA Top 25 announced Monday.
The Bronchos went 4-0 last week to improve to 10-3 on the season. UCO stayed put in its ranking in the coaches' poll.
Central Oklahoma begins MIAA play this week. The league has six teams ranked in the top 25 with Nebraska Kearney leading way at No. 7. Missouri Western, which hosts UCO this Friday in St. Joseph, is ranked No. 8 in the country. Washburn dropped from fourth to No. 12, Emporia State moved up to No. 18, and Central Missouri debuted at No. 25.
UCO plays Northwest Missouri on Thursday in Maryville and then takes on MWSU. The Bronchos are home next week for conference play with Missouri Southern and Central Missouri coming to Hamilton Field House in Edmond on Sept. 24-25.
