UCO Duo Earns Weekly MIAA Awards

Riley Roberts and Kaitlyn Parrott Named MIAA Players of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Oklahoma earned two of three MIAA Volleyball Player of the Week awards, the league announced Monday afternoon.
 
Riley Roberts was named MIAA Setter of the Week and Kaitlyn Parrott was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week. The duo led Central Oklahoma to a 4-0 week with wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State, Northeastern State, East Central, and Ouachita Baptist at the MIAA/GAC Crossover in Edmond.
 
Roberts led Central Oklahoma's offense averaging 11.93 assists per set over four matches for the Bronchos, totaling 167 on the week. Roberts dished out 46 assists against SOSU, 48 against NSU, 40 against East Central, and 43 in the final match against Ouachita Baptist.
 
Parrott led Central Oklahoma's defensive efforts, averaging 7.50 digs per set over 14 sets played this week. The senior All-American and 2025 MIAA Libero of the Year totaled 105 digs in four matches. Parrott recorded 28 digs in four sets against SOSU, 20 in three sets against Northeastern State, 33 in the win over East Central, and 24 in the finale win over Ouachita Baptist.
 
Central Oklahoma opens MIAA play this weekend with a road trip to Northwest Missouri on Thursday night and No. 10 Missouri Western on Friday night. The Bronchos return home next weekend for matchups against Missouri Southern and Central Missouri.
