Lemos, Ritz Named To NFCA All-Central Region Team

Both Players Move On To The All-America Ballot

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central Oklahoma standouts Rylee Lemos and Terin Ritz earned First-Team All-Central Region recognition from the National Softball Coaches Association (NFCA) Thursday.

Lemos was a Second Team selection in the outfield last year before moving up this season, while Ritz was the First Team pick at utility/pitcher for the third consecutive season. Both players move on to the All-America ballot, with those teams to be announced May 21 at the Division II Championship Finals banquet in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

A junior from South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Lemos has been a three-year mainstay at the top of the batting order for the Bronchos. She entered the Central Regional I Tournament that UCO is hosting with a .387 average that includes 13 doubles, 11 home runs, six triples and 41 runs batted in.

Lemos has scored 64 runs, which ranks fourth nationally. She's had 18 multi-hit games this season and also owns 19 stolen bases.

A senior from Edmond, Ritz has been an unstoppable force at the plate and in the pitching circle for the Bronchos in 2025 and is looking to become UCO's first-ever three-time Division II All-American.

The hard-hitting senior entered the regional batting .422 with 18 doubles, 17 homers, 72 RBI and 138 total bases, having had 21 multi-RBI and 18 multi-hit games. She ranks third nationally in RBI and fifth in slugging percentage (.896).

Ritz has been equally effective in the circle, carrying an 18-3 record and 1.59 ERA in 136.2 innings. She's thrown 15 complete games in 22 starts with seven shutouts, which ranks 11th in Division II, and has walked a mere 20 batters while striking out 109.
