Rylee Anglen Earns NFCA Gold Glove

Central Oklahoma Senior Earns Prestigious Defensive Award

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central Oklahoma senior Rylee Anglen was named one of nine recipients of the 2026 NCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA on Thursday.

Anglen starred at second base for UCO this season in leading the Bronchos to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship Super Regionals. The senior played in and started 61 of 62 games for Central this season.

Anglen was second on the team with 108 assists this season. In 201 chances, she recorded 91 putouts, 108 assists, and made just two fielding errors all year for a brilliant .990 fielding percentage to end the season.

She is the second player to earn an NFCA Gold Glove Award. Teammate Rylee Lemos earned it twice, in 2023 and 2025, as an outfielder.

Anglen wrapped up a standout career with the Bronchos this spring. In four seasons, she played in 205 games and started 183 of them. She had 703 career chances in the field, made 333 putouts with 354 career assists and just 16 errors, for a .977 fielding percentage. Her 354 career assists are the ninth-most in UCO history.

Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the NFCA's NCAA Division II All-America Committee, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
