Biography

Senior stalwart and two-time All-American who ranks among the best of the best in NCAA Division II … Can dominate a game both at the plate and in the pitching circle as an elite dual-purpose threat … Powerfully built slugger capable of driving every pitch out of the park and also hits for average … Hard-throwing right-hander who displays amazing control in the circle … Will once again be counted on as UCO’s pitching ace while also anchoring the offense from her cleanup spot … Will be at first base or designated player when not pitching as the Bronchos need this clutch run-producer in the lineup at all times … Will finish career as one of the greatest players in school history and has a chance to become Central’s first-ever three-time Division II All-American … Ranks in the top 10 in seven career categories – first in winning percentage (.818, 54-12), sixth in wins (54), seventh in home runs (33), ninth in innings pitched (401.2) and 10th in runs batted in (134), shutouts (11) and strikeouts (244).
 
2024: Enjoyed a sensational junior campaign, culminating in selection as a First-Team All-American at utility/pitcher by both the Conference Commissioner’s Association and National Softball Coaches Association … Also named MIAA co-Player of the Year after playing in all 57 games, starting 28 at pitcher and 29 at first base or DP … Hit .381 with 12 doubles, 18 homers and 58 RBI … Led the league in homers and slugging percentage (.819) … Ranked fourth in homers and ninth in RBI on UCO’s single-season lists … Drew team-high 35 walks in finishing with .493 on-base percentage and reached base in 50 of 57 games … Had 16 multi-hit and 16 multi-RBI games … Put together an 18-game hitting streak – the third-longest in school history – midway through the season … Hit .475 (28-for-59) with nine homers and 28 RBI during that torrid stretch … Smacked two homers and drove in career-high five runs in 6-5 win over Missouri Western … Had a .417 average (20-for-48) with 22 RBI when batting with two outs … Threw 14 complete games in 28 starts with six shutouts in going 21-7 with a paltry 1.50 earned run average … Allowed just 25 walks while striking out 97 in 163.1 innings … Threw five straight complete games on two occasions … Threw three-hitter with six strikeouts while going 3-for-5 with four RBI in 11-0 rout of Winona State …Tossed five-hit shutout in 3-0 win over Washburn in first round of the national tournament.

2023: First-Team All-Central Region pick at utility/pitcher by the CCA and NFCA … Second-Team All-America selection by CCA and Third-Team choice by NFCA … Played in all 63 games, pitching in 41 of those … Finished with stellar 27-3 record and 2.16 ERA in 197.2 innings pitched in addition to batting .356 with 12 homers and 52 RBI … Set school-record for winning percentage (.900) while also finishing third in wins, seventh in innings pitching and 10th in saves (three) on UCO single-season charts … Had 18 complete games in 28 starts and walked just 31 batters while striking out 114 … Threw four shutouts, highlighted by four-hitter in 4-0 win over defending national champion Rogers State … Was UCO’s workhorse in the postseason, going 10-2 with a 2.07 ERA in 67.1 innings while pitching in all 14 games … MIAA all-tournament pick after getting all four wins in UCO’s run to the title, finishing with 1.27 ERA in 22 innings … Had 20 multi-hit and 13 multi-RBI games at the plate and ran off a pair of seven-game hitting streaks … Hit .459 (17-for-37) when leading off an inning … Also came up big in the clutch, batting .373 (22-for-59) and driving in 19 runs with two outs … Fine fielder as well, committing just one error in 179 chances in finishing with .994 fielding percentage that is tied for fifth-best on school single-season list.
 
 
2022: Appeared in 37 games with 34 starts while missing five weeks of action with a broken arm midway through the season … Finished with .290 average that included five doubles, three homers and 24 RBI … Had seven multi-hit and six multi-RBI games … Reached base in 18 straight games during one stretch … Had nine-game hitting streak early in season, hitting .400 (10-for-25) with two homers and 10 RBI in that stretch … Hit .543 (19-for-35) with 14 RBI when batting with two outs … Pitched in nine games with seven starts, going 6-2 … Had 3.61 ERA while striking out 33 and walking 10 in 40 2/3 innings … Threw three-hit shutout with six strikeouts in first-ever start, a 7-0 win over Texas A&M International … Suffered injury in mid-March and didn’t pitch after returning to action in late April, playing mostly DP the last month of the season … Delivered two-out RBI single in bottom of eighth inning to give UCO 3-2 win over Augustana in Central Region II finals.
 
High School: Enjoyed fabulous career at Deer Creek High School in Edmond … Batted .497 with 44 homers and had 1.97 ERA with 370 strikeouts … Two-time Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference and District 6A-1 Player of the Year … Led the Antlers to three straight state tournament berths and an All-State pick as a senior.
