Grant Randall Named MIAA Hitter of the Week

Bronchos Sweep Colorado Christian, Earn Second Straight League Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Oklahoma senior outfielder Grant Randall was named MIAA Hitter of the Week after a big weekend leading the Bronchos to a three-game sweep.
 
UCO went 3-0 against Colorado Christian, taking a doubleheader 3-1 & 6-3 on Friday, before a thrilling 12-11 walkoff win on Saturday.
 
Randall went 6-for-11 at the plate with three doubles, a home run, four runs scored and four RBIs. Randall went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored, then 2-for-4 with two doubles, in a doubleheader sweep on Friday. He went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double, four RBIs, and three runs scored in Saturday's series finale
 
Randall also had four stolen bases (five attempts) in the three-game non-conference sweep.
 
Central Oklahoma is 9-2 this season and is scheduled to play Washburn in Topeka, Kansas this weekend as MIAA play begins. The league series is scheduled for Friday – Sunday.
