Rebekah George Earns All-Region Honors

UCO Senior Midfielder Named D2CCA Second Team

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Rebekah George earned D2CCA All-Region honors for the second year in a row, it was announced Tuesday.
 
The graduate student from Choctaw, Oklahoma was named Second Team All-Region by the association as voted on by members of the communications offices. George earned First Team All-Region in 2024 and was named Central Region Player of the Year.
 
This fall, George led UCO with 13 points, earning it with three goals scored and a team-high seven assists. She led the MIAA in assists.
 
George helped the Bronchos reach the MIAA Women's Soccer Championship and guided the team to two wins in the postseason tournament. The No. 6 seed Bronchos won at No. 3 Central Missouri in the quarterfinals before displacing No. 7 Emporia State in the semifinals in Wichita, Kansas. George helped the Bronchos reach the MIAA Championship game for the second consecutive season.
 
A two-year standout, the sixth-year senior finished her career at UCO with 13 goals and 10 assists.
